Bored...
My life is awesome; gotta love lazy days when you have nothing to do. It's funny how the lazy days are the ones where you are the most tired. I don't get it :) But I can't complain because today something exciting did happen. Here's the funny/tragic story..... My friend and I decided to dye each other's hair because we were both bored and wanted to do something different. Usually I like dying my hair; its fun and you have a new look that you can play around with, but today it didn't go so well. I decided to go for this deep reddish color that way I can still be a redhead but more interesting. My friend decided on a brownish color with a hint of red... or so we thought. So during the dying process we realized two things; 1: my color looks basically the same as before I dyed it and 2: my friends hair is a deep cherry red. I don't know how it happened but her hair turned out to be a deep cherry, purplish color and looks nothing like what's on the box. Though I love my friend to death I really can't help but laugh. I feel so bad but I have no idea how to fix a bad dye job. We are still searching for a solution and hoping it just fades out in the next couple of days. So while my friend is sporting a really funky new hair color, mine looks like it did before. I think I'm done dying my hair for a long time.

New Blogger :)
I've decided to copy everyone else and start a blog :). I figure its a good way to keep a "journal" since I haven't written in one for years. My life right now is pretty crazy; I'm experiencing a lot of new and exciting things that I want to keep track of. Also, I thought this would be a convenient way for family and friends to see what I'm up too since I never find time to talk to everybody..... A little about me- I'm 18 and about to start college in 7 weeks. I'm extremely excited and a little nervous for classes to begin. I will be majoring in special education which is awesome. I already just want to skip ahead four years and become a teacher. Recently I started a new job in retail. So far it's been really fun and I'm working with a lot of really cool people including my best friend. Being away from home has been a whole new, nerve-racking adventure but I'm absolutely loving every minute of it. I have learned so much about myself from the little bit of time being on my own and I wouldn't give up any of hardships that have gotten me this far. I miss Pa and my family a lot. I wish I could combine Idaho and PA together so I can have all the things I love in one place :)... Well this is the end of my first blog. Hopefully this will become a frequent thing to keep everyone updated and informed.
